2 More Days!

So I am getting totally excited about this open house. I have been working on items still and snapping pics and making slideshows. I have beefed up the website with fall and winter items and I am almost ready for the opening. You may not see or hear much from me in the next day or so but I will be around. If you haven't done so already and you want to shop early, sign up for the mailing list. Freaked Out!

Ok So I just realized that I totally have such a large email list that my hotmail will not let me send that many in one day. I want everyone to have a fair chance for items July 31st so I have tried not successfully to import my contacts list to Thunderbird. I am having to go in and put everybodies emails in by hand and then I don't know if any are missing. Soooooo I am going to make a new yahoo account and export the list to there and hopefully I will be able to send it all from there or at least half there and half from hotmail.......Any other ideas please let me know...

Witches HAt Cookies Easy

Witch's Hat

Ingredients:

1 package Keebler fudge striped cookies
1 orange decorating frosting
1 package Hershey Kisses

Directions:

Turn the Cookies upside down squeeze frosting onto and around the hole of the cookie.

Place the Kiss over the hole.

Voila ~ a witch's hat!

Fall Open House August 1st

Series # 2 Wicked Witch of the West Pinkeep

Ok this is series #2 of the Oz Pinkeeps. The Good Witch Pinkeep was Series #1. Altered and made from a Hudson Holidays pattern, this pinkeep is sure to please. Hand-embroidered front with Wicked Witch Pins and 2 stars primitively stitched to the hat. Grubby cheesecloth tie, several pics of the wicked witch, her cat, a pumpkin and then the ruby red slippers she so wanted. Also added and can be removed is her wicked broom! Made from a twig and raffia and twisted with rusty wire. This all sits on a vintage black wrought iron base which makes it look all the more wild and wicked! This is a great piece~and is OOAK........

ButterBeer Light

Butterbeer Light

I improved on the well-loved Traditional Hogsmeade-Style Butterbeer recipe -
now all the alcohol and calories have been charmed away! :)

Makes 2 quarts.

1 cup sugar-free butterscotch or English Toffee flavoring syrup (Torani's or similar)
7 cups diet cream soda (almost one 2 liter bottle)

Carefully mix just before serving, adding the butterscotch flavoring to the soda then stirring gently to mix well, or the fizz will dissipate too soon. To keep butterbeer on hand, pour 1 cup cream soda out of the 2-liter bottle, quickly add 1 cup butterscotch flavoring, and recap the bottle. Completely sugar-free and alcohol-free!

Ohhh I have a great witch coming soon to you. I don't think she has ever been done before! I will be posting the progress here when I get her finished.

Oh and I just got in the cutest witch lampshade and lamp and also a cute set of 4 Paper Altered Art witches and then I also got in a WITCH BOOKLET which spells out the word WITCH and each page contains a haunting surprise..... I will have up for sale in the next few days after I make them all and have them together.....Stay tuned!
